MedicBank: Temporary + Permanent Recruitment Solution

MedicBank is an online platform to recruit locum and permanent staff, cutting the current high costs associated with traditional agencies. 

MedicBank will simplify the system and function as an adjunct to the modernisation and digitalisation of the NHS. Shift Managers will be able to have greater access and control of their recruitment services. It will make the whole process more transparent and easier to regulate.

MedicBank is an online platform to recruit locum and permanent staff, cutting the current high costs associated with traditional agencies. 

Our customers fall under three categories: staff managers, nurses and doctors. Staff Managers are under pressure to recruit doctors/nurses for locum shifts in the short-term and then solve this crisis in the long-term by recruiting skilled professionals from overseas. Doctors and Nurses are constantly looking to advance their career and income. The current system is archaic when considering the wider technological advances. Our development will both speed up and ease this process. Nurses and doctors will be able to select shifts at immediate and elective notice, and matching software will aid this process to improve links between staff managers and their staff. 

It addresses the key issues with the existing recruitment services within the NHS:

- It digitalises and eases the process for Shift Managers

- It reduces the immense cost burden on the Trust put on by traditional and resource intensive agencies

- It makes it easier for doctors and nurses to find jobs (both locum and permanent)
