About

TIER  2 APPROVED

An award-winning dementia awareness programme created by National Museums Liverpool for the health and care sector, to help people to live well with dementia.

The House of Memories training programme provides participants with practical skills and knowledge to facilitate a positive quality of life for people living with dementia. Training is available for family carers, as well as professional carers.

My House of Memories app

Co-created by National Museums Liverpool and people living with dementia (Innovate Dementia), the free My House of Memories app allows you to explore museum objects from the past, which are brought to life with sound, music and descriptions.

A tool to support engagement and cognitive stimulation, the app allows people to browse museum objects to prompt discussion, reminiscence, and it can be personalised to save favourite objects to a digital memory tree.
